Tom Odell is a pretty new artist on the scene. He's based in London and studied at BIMM (Brighton Institute of Modern Music). I was listening to the radio one day and one of his songs came on. It was one of those moments where you're not really listening to the music, kind of just hearing it and then when you actually tune back in you're like "this is awesome!!" haha. So I listened intently, wrote down some of the lyrics and looked it up when I got home. This is what google showed me...
LOVE this song! His voice isn't majorly unique per se, but his kind of sound is something that the music industry is definitely lacking at this current time. Good opportunity for Tom to jump in and kill it. Tom is planning on releasing his debut album "Long Way Down" on the 15th of April so definitely keep an eye out for that. I think Tom is definitely one to watch - he's becoming more and more popular every other day, I'm sure it won't be long before I see him headlining arenas or even stadiums maybe?
