There have been quite a few new and pretty cool videos popping up this past week. I won't be able to acknowledge all of them but here's a start...


PHARRELL WILLIAMS - Happy
The world's first 24-hour music video! Pharrell has put out a series of hour long videos, amounting to 24-hours worth of happiness inducing video footage. This is genuinely one of the best songs that I've heard in a while. Easy, catchy rhythm and light but meaningful lyrics. MORE OF THIS PLEASE PHARRELL! QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE - The Vampyre Of Time And Memory
Speaking of unique videos coming out, we've had a couple of awesome interactive videos thrown at us recently. This one being a lot creepier than Bombay Bicycle Club's "Carry Me" interactive. Josh Homme and co. have a talent for putting out videos that stick in your mind and this one easily fits into that category. RDGLDGRN - Power Ups
Since putting out their debut self-titled album earlier this year the Virginia-born trio has been quietly tearing it up (how can you not when you have Dave Grohl drumming on your debut?). I really like this song though, very cool video and seeing as this may be a first impression of them for most people, I'd say they've made the right one...

ZEDD FEAT. HAYLEY WILLIAMS - Stay The Night (Acoustic)
Not yet the full video but the preview gets me excited enough for the full version. I loved the track already - Hayley's vocals are immense and Zedd of course layers them over a super catchy beat. However, this more stripped down version with just vocals and keys sounds like it may just be more my cup of tea. I suppose we'll see when they release it! Until then...
