ANNOUNCEMENT: NEW ARCTIC MONKEYS

Arctic Monkeys debuted a new song "Mad Sounds" on Friday at a Swedish Festival (Hultsfred). This is most likely going to feature on their upcoming fifth album. Have a listen here...

Nice to hear a ballad from the boys. There aren't really any qualms that I had with this. It was just a really really nice song. Mellow vibe and good lyrics. Alex Turner's voice. There is nothing to fault here. Just know that when this record drops - if you only do one thing that day, buy it. It will definitely be something to behold.

The boys later played this new track again last night at a Scandinavian Festival (NorthSide). Here was their set list for the night...

'Do I Wanna Know'
'Brainstorm'
'Dancing Shoes'
'Teddy Picker'
'Crying Lightning'
'Don't Sit Down 'Cos I Moved Your Chair'
'Fake Tales of San Francisco'
'The View from the Afternoon'
'Old Yellow Bricks'
'Pretty Visitors'
'I Bet That You Look Good on the Dancefloor'
'Do Me a Favour'
'Cornerstone'
'Suck it and See'
'Mad Sounds'
'R U Mine?'
'When the Sun Goes Down'
'Fluorescent Adolescent'
'505'

Well the Glastonbury full line-up times and stages have just been announced here and if Arctic Monkeys' set list is anywhere near this good (which it will be) on the 28th then, MY GOODNESS!
