Got a minute to look through some things on YouTube and of course I found my self watching a video of Beyoncé, but not just any video...
FLAWLESS. Many words come to mind when watching this performance but I think that 'flawless' just about sums it up. This woman is one of the best performers of our generation by a mile. Bare in mind that this was a performance to open the show - just think how the rest of the show went?!
And her band need to be recognised also because my goodness! They were on fire this night, backing vocalists and all! Loved the "Gnarls Barkley - Crazy" mash-up at 2:11, and then exactly one minute later (3:11) Beyoncé just blows it out of the water with a fabulous vocal run. This is just a stellar performance. More performers these days - from any genre - need to take a leaf out of Mrs. Carter's book.
